9.00 a.m.

Dear Diary

I am very excited today.I had never thought I would be able to bowl so well in the final match of inter house tournament.I was sent to open the bowling for my house.The second ball of the first over gave me my first wicket.In the last bowl of the same over I took another wicket.WOW!

MY moral was boosted.I ended up taking six wickets.We were sure we would win the match and we did! We won the match by 24 runs and I was declared the Man of the Match!

I am very tired now.My legs are aching.so I will close for now and take a shower and go to bed.Good night.

3. Sally asked the artist to draw her mothers face after he had drawn her Granny's face.
4. Sally's mother got worry lines when her brother fell off his bicycle and broke his leg, when granny got very ill and when her father lost his job.
5. Sally's mother had laugh lines round her eyes because she was fond of jokes,was bright, gay and merry .
6. Sally gave her mother a curly smiley line because she was a nice, sweet tempered and kind girl.
7. Sally promised to make the small curly line bigger by being a good and kind girl all the time.
