A5.The princesses offered these men a goblet of wine,which would put them to sleep.

A6.The soldier had tied a piece of sponge under his chin, so when he had put the cup to his lips ,all the wine ran into the sponge and he did not drink even a drop of the wine.Thus he kept awake.
